‘Tin Clothing’ or waxing canvas goods is a time tested weather-proofing method. Some recipes call for turpentine, others for Neatsfoot oil (an animal-sourced oil). We here at the Lyceum found an old recipe for an all-natural and safe way to protect your cotton duct goods. Bring in you 100% cotton coats, shoes or buy a 100% cotton Tamworth Lyceum tote to make all-weather.
